In the next five years in Kiev prohibited from cutting down plants in the parks and squares and, accordingly, be allocated to these areas of land for construction. The exceptions are emergencies, when falling trees may threaten human life or cause damage to buildings. The law has supported 341 of 424 MP's, registered in the hall. It is aimed at preventing the mass destruction of greenery in Kiev.
The document establishes a moratorium for five years to remove the plantings in Kyiv parks, botanical gardens, parks, forest parks, forests and green areas of coastal areas, bank protection sites, islands in the Dnieper River in the city limits of the Ukrainian capital.
At the same time, the law allows for emergency and emergency situations, if the fall of trees threatens the lives and health of people, damaging buildings and communications, to carry out removal of such plantations immediately.
