Property News | UDC Holding will build a satellite town in Sudan Ukrainian construction company UDC Holding perform Project manager in the construction of the satellite town of Khartoum in Sudan. This was stated today at a press conference CEO Leonid Bogdanov, the correspondent of RBC-Ukraine. Bogdanov said that the project owner is a Kuwaiti company Al Badr International and the total investment reaches 12 billion dollars .. The construction period will be from 4 to 7 years.

In his opinion, this project would be subject to two components - design and maintenance management. As noted by company CEO, will be done, starting with tendering and ending with the technical supervision of construction.

"This satellite city will occupy about 600 hectares. This territory will dominate residential construction, high-rise residential buildings and villas. In addition, we plan to build a university, a medical campus, shopping and entertainment infrastructure. Buildings will be oriented to the middle class "- said Bogdanov.

Recall that the UDC Holding also negotiated a fundraising project to build a rail track gauge European-style (1435) and a length of 86 km from Lviv to the Polish border.

According to preliminary calculations, the investment will amount to 500-600 million euros. However, it should be noted that in Ukraine is prohibited private ownership of railways.
