Kiev City Administration and Kyiv Regional Administration will work together to attract investment for development of housing infrastructure in the region. This was stated by Chairman Anatoly Kievobladministratsii Prisyajnyuk the signing ceremony of MOU between Kiev and the area of cooperation in the field of socio-economic, scientific-technical, humanitarian and cultural development and urban area. "The first area of cooperation - is full satisfaction of residents of Kyiv and the field shelter. We really can provide those or other areas, and we will not share - it's the inhabitants of Kiev or region" - said Prisyajnyuk.
In turn, the first deputy chairman of the KCSA Alexander Popov added that today a lot of investors who want to build housing.
"We now have offers from investors who are ready to build a virtually new cities, small towns numbering 5-6 thousand people. This is a very modern housing estates with all the infrastructure - it's just XXII century ... It is very interesting architectural design. Kiev can develop this way: people live in ecologically clean area, and come and work in the city, "- said Popov.
He added that today there are all possibilities and even the development of specific projects. However, the official did not elaborate on what specific amount of investment involved.
"This is a private investment, they may be different, depending on how the project will be attractive to people ... In my opinion, it would be a great investment - it is tens of billions of dollars, and in the next period. 3-4 years ( maximum of 5) - I am convinced that this will be a very intense process of development (housing), "- said Popov.
