For this decision at a session of the City Council voted 67 deputies, when necessary 46.V particular, approved planning documentation and activities to implement the general plan. According to the deputy of the Lviv city council Faith Lyaskovsky, general plan provides for the accession to Lviv 8,5 thousand hectares of peri-urban areas. According to the general plan, in Lviv is 998 ha of land free to build on. Its development continued last 9 years.
As the chief architect Yuri Lvov Krivoruchko master plan is the main planning document that establishes the conditions and principles of integrated urban development of suburban land of the city.
Master Plan was developed by the state enterprise State Institute of Urban Design "Mistoproekt" commissioned by Department of Architecture of Lviv City Council, RBK-Ukraine.
