In the I half of the number of sold apartments in new buildings in the Lithuanian capital increased by 47% compared to the same period last year.
The prices at which the transaction took place, also rose - by 2% in the segment of economy class (? 800-1300 per sq. M), 3% in the medium price segment (? 1300-1800 per sq. M) and 1% in the premium segment (from ? 1800 per sqm. m).
The volume offers Vilnius apartments in the primary market declined by 33%, according to The Baltic Course, citing data from the Center Register.
It is noted that in Vilnius, the share of primary apartment had 27% of the total number of transactions, whereas in other major cities in Lithuania - Kaunas and Klaipeda - only 3% and 6% respectively.
