Deputy Chairman of Lviv Regional Council Valery Piatak held a working meeting to prepare for consideration by the Regional Council "Programme for the Development of master plans of small towns, historic residential areas and priority development territories in the Lviv region until 2015. " According to the press service for the upcoming program is to determine the prospects for the spatial development of small towns and the creation of conditions for rational land-use communities.
Through this program local communities will be able to quickly and accurately develop a master plan. Invited dofinansirovanie (50%) from the regional budget expenditures of local budgets for the development of these strategic areas for development documents. Over the next four years will help urban communities develop about 60 master plans. At dofinansirovanie these works Lviv regional council plans to annually allocate from the regional budget of about 1 mln.
Following the meeting it was decided to refine the funding mechanism and to supplement the program through the selection of projects.
