Kiev city council has increased the rents for land in 2011 for certain types of entrepreneurial activity. Budgeted in Kiev in 2011, writes Interfax.
Rates increased for those business activities as the production of distilled alcoholic beverages and ethyl alcohol - from 10% to 12%, retail trade of alcoholic and tobacco products - from 7% to 12%.
Increased rates to trade cars, bikes, parts and equipment for them, as well as their maintenance and repair - from 3% to 8% of bars - from 6% to 8%; telephone - from 8% to 10% of mobile communication, the Internet, satellite communications - from 9% to 10%.
Rental rates for land for other business activities are the same as in 2010.
Total income from fees for land in the budget of Kyiv are planned for 2011 in the amount of 2.993 billion USD, while in 2010 earnings for this item have been scheduled in the amount of 1.43 billion USD.
More than twofold increase in revenue from payment for land will be achieved through revision of contracts for land lease and the rent, paying off tax debts, as well as an inventory of land, not leased.
Moreover, we assume an index of regulatory monetary valuation of the land in accordance with the expected consumer price index. Kiev city administration is obliged to inform tenants and landowners, as well as the tax authorities on the value of the indexation of regulatory monetary assessment not later than January 15.
The consumer price index for 2011 is set at 108.9%.
