Feb. 3 rally held to demand a veto on the Law on Urban Development

On Thursday, February 3, at 10.30 am under the Presidential Administration will be picketing the public with a demand to veto and send back for revision, with the participation of public law "On regulation of urban development, " said the press service of the public initiative "to preserve the old Kiev. According to organizers, the shares will be held with the participation of Kiev, initiative groups of citizens, activists, community and environmental organizations.

"Thursday, Feb. 3 - this is the last day when the President or a veto or sign a new law on urban policy. Recall that this law was drafted without public participation, and only with the involvement of representatives of developers, "- said in the announcement of the rally.

The press release notes that lawyers, activists, historians and environmentalists are ready to help develop a new law that allows development of Ukrainian cities, preserving their history, culture and increasing comfort for the residents.
