The average effective rate mortgages to purchase housing on the primary market of Kiev and the Kiev region in 2010 decreased by 3.5 percentage points - to just over 19% annually in local currency. This was reported by financial analyst Prostobank Consulting Vladimir Payuk.
According to him, the number of banks that issue mortgages for the purchase of apartments in the primary market, grew in 2,8 times - with 3-4 banks in early 2010 to 13-14 banks by year's end.
As written by UNIAN, at the end of last year, banks offered more than 30 mortgage programs for home buying in the primary market of Kiev.
B. Payuk noted that last year there were proposals for home purchase loans in the primary market as a whole, in addition to specific programs, construction of which banks lend to.
