Activists ask to stop logging on Trukhanov Island Public activists ask the deputies of the Kyiv city council to react to the deforestation of trees on Truhanov Island that has been going on for several months. Public officials say that all the relevant services are known, but they do nothing. The head of the Kyiv city council on environmental policy Konstantin Yalova addressed the deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration Petr Panteleyev and the director of the department of city landscaping and conservation of the KSCA Andrey Fischuk with the problem of cutting down trees. The deputy asks to verify the facts as soon as possible and, in case of violation of the law - to calculate the amount of damage and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Deforestation takes place between the Chaika and Impuls bases.

Earlier it was reported that in the Solomensky district of Kiev built a ski track.
