Such an opinion at the board meeting of the Kyiv City State Administration stated the first deputy director KP "Kiev Institute of Land Relations" (KP KIZO) Leonid Nowakowski.
"I think we came a time when we need to initiate the development of the law on peri-urban areas and to resolve this issue so that we at the legislative level could interfere with the use of land and building a suburban area of the city of Kiev", - said A. Nowakowski.
"We, in fact, this zone, which is adjacent to Kiev, built up cottage towns, passed into private ownership and then resold the land. This happened as a result of the fact that this territory is not a law that would regulate these issues," - L. Nowakowski said.
According to him, to date, such laws on the suburban areas are effective in Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries.
