Following 2010 the Ukrainians are among the most active private buyers of Polish territory. Leaders in buying land in Poland are the citizens of Germany and the Netherlands in the first five as well - the people of Britain and Austria.
As reported by "Polskie Radio" with reference to the report by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland, in 2010 the authorities issued 262 permits for the purchase of land with total area of ??807 hectares. Of these, 717 hectares were companies, while 90 hectares - private individuals, says the League.
Residents of the European Union make up the majority of buyers of Polish real estate, with an increase in purchases by non-EU citizens, mostly Ukrainians and Russian.
Recall, the volume of transactions in the real estate market in Central and Eastern Europe during the first two months of 2011 reached 1.2 billion euros. One of the main centers of attraction for investors is Poland. While in the office sector in January and February were made not so many transactions, in general activity and interest in the market remain high.
