Ukrainian developers greatly save on construction materials, and government bodies do not control them. This opinion was expressed by the analyst of the consulting agency SV Development Sergey Kostetsky at a press conference. "Now developers save on everything, and the state can not control them, it looks like the house is built in accordance with the project, all gaps are taken into account, there is an accomplishment, but no one looks at the quality of the materials from which the houses are made," noted expert.
According to him, before the crisis, developers had a "gap" of 200-300%, so they built houses with ventilated facades of "European quality", used higher-quality fixtures, and allocated more areas to common areas.
At the same time, he added that those houses that are being put into operation, especially monolithic frames, which are filled with slag blocks that have not been used for a long time, will "make themselves felt" after five years.
The weak places of such objects, according to the expert, are heat conduction and energy saving.
Recall prices for housing in Ukraine continue to fall and have already approached the critically low level. Some developers already sell square meters at almost the cost price. Such data was released by the National Bank of Ukraine in the December "Financial Stability Report".
