Parliamentary opposition is going to stop the sale of valuable land of the capital Kiev city council. Stated in the draft resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine N8265 "On the observance of the legal regime removal of valuable land in Kiev on 18.03.2011.
As reported by Government portal, document author, MP Kirill Kulikov (Bloc "Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense"), proposes to recognize the illegal actions of the Kiev City Council on allocation of valuable land without the consent in the manner prescribed by Articles 150 and 151 of the Land Code of Ukraine. The document stated that such actions are inadmissible, protivozakonnymy and cause great damage to the natural reserves and historical and cultural treasures of Kyiv.
In addition, the General Prosecutor of Ukraine proposed to strengthen supervision over compliance with the Kiev City Council legislation for the allocation of valuable land and to take measures to verify the facts allocation of land plots from the category of valuable land without the consent of the Verkhovna Rada and Cabinet, and to bring those responsible to justice.
In the explanatory memorandum to the draft notes that today in a critical situation with the uncontrolled and systematically selling out of Kiev city council land, which are particularly valuable lands. "From the media I was repeatedly informed of the allocation or sale of the Kiev city council land Islands Zhukov, Truhanov, parks, tracts, parks and land from the territory of historical and cultural reserves, conservation and buffer zones of World Heritage, open-air museums, etc . etc., - he said in a memorandum to the draft resolution. - Land of valuable lands in the state or communal property may be withdrawn (redeemed) by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers or by the relevant local council, if the question of withdrawal ( redemption) of land approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. "
Recall, 18 land plots in Kiev are prepared for sale at land auction on behalf of the head of the Kyiv city state administration Alexander Popov. Bidding can take place every Tuesday at 10:00 am in the presence of at least two registered participants. The nearest land auction scheduled for March 29, 2011.
