The Cabinet of Ministers decided to increase the liability for the use of state-owned lands, authorizing the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance and the SLC prior to October 1, 2010 to develop a draft law on land management of state property.
The corresponding decision was taken at a meeting of the commission to monitor the use and alienation of land of Defense and other state-owned lands under the chairmanship of Vice Prime Minister Volodymyr Sivkovych, reports the Department of Information and Communications Secretariat, CMU, writes reporter.
"The bill designed to increase accountability for the use of state-owned lands," - said Sivkovych.
According to Dunn, an interdepartmental committee decided to ask the Council of Ministers of Crimea, regional administration, Kyiv and Sevastopol city administration to organize a working group to verify the facts seizure of land for defense needs housing and other purposes, then take measures to return illegally seized land to the state until October 1, 2010 .
As noted in the report, the Defense Ministry, Interior Ministry, Emergencies Ministry, State Land Committee, State Border Service, the Department of Corrections, Natsakademiya of Agricultural Sciences have until 1 September 2010 to establish areas that are not used for their intended purpose or are no longer needed for such use, and to prepare them for sale through auctions.
According to the Defense Ministry, Agriculture Ministry and the State Land Committee tasked to develop a mechanism for transferring land military farms, which are not used for defense purposes in the sphere of management of Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
"Resolved that until September 1, 2010 SLC, together with the Ministry of Justice should initiate amendments to the legislation in the provision of State Land Committee and its territorial bodies of law applying to a court in the public interest on matters under their jurisdiction" - the report says.
"Before the fall of the ministry and the committee on behalf of the government commission will monitor the court decisions on the alienation of lands of public property, and then apply to the Supreme Court of Ukraine to summarize the court practice and clarifications on the application of the law when considering cases in this category," - to be confirmed in a statement.
As previously reported, the Interagency Commission for Control over the use and alienation of land of Defense and other state-owned lands instructed the Ministry of Defence to identify land parcels that are not used by the Office for the intended purpose and to prepare them for sale by auction to September.
