Romania wants to raise property taxes

<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12px;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma;">The tax will be increased to two or more owners of residential real estate.<br /><br />If the object is not rented, the owner of "additional" housing will pay for it 15% more. Tax on second "additional" facility housing increased by 50% in the third - by 75% in the fourth and subsequent - 100%.<br /><br />For homeowners, which is rented, increasing the tax on the first and second "additional" objects will be 30% and 100%, respectively, on the third and subsequent - 200%.<br /><br />According Prian, there is a new measure until a bill. Thanks to the Romanian authorities expect to significantly increase revenues in municipal budgets.<br /><br />Currently, in Romania the tax rate on residential property ownership is 0,1% of the appraised value of the object. Owners of "additional" housing paid for it as much and for the main residence.<br /><em><strong></strong></em> </span></span></div>
