The cost of residence permits for foreign residents in Finland from January 1 next year will rise from 225 euros to 350 euros. Relevant amendments have already been taken by the government.<br /><br />Rise in price due to the fact that from next year in Finland is planned to use the residence permit of a new sample, as amended, biometric data (eg, fingerprints). It will cost the Finnish government more than the insert in the passport, which currently plays the role of the Finnish residence, wrote Helsinki Times.<br /><br />The cost of residence permits for foreigners who plan to study in Finland, will grow from 125 to 250 euros. This is explained by the fact that the legal recognition of foreign educational documents requires additional man-hours among Finnish workers.<br /><br />The state duty to submit an application for citizenship will increase to 440 euros.<br /><br /><strong>Help</strong><br />Residence permit (permission to stay) in Finland may be granted on the basis of family ties, of Finnish origin, repatriation.
