The draft Tax Code, which proposes that the Cabinet of Ministers, provided a tax on property in the amount of 50 kopecks per 1 square meter for apartments and other rooms up to 50 square meters. It was said by the MP, a member of the OU-PSD Ksenia Lyapina.
"I think that for the population of very interesting information that we introduce a tax on real estate. And it is not on that property, which is a luxury ... From 0 to 50 square meters in tax rate - 50 cents per square ", - said the deputy.
In addition, according to Xenia Lyapina, the New Tax Code provides a tax of 1 hryvnia for 1 square meter indoor area from 50 to 100 square meters, 2 hryvnia for 1 square meter for the premises from 150 to 200 square meters.
However, she did not specify what tax provides for premises from 100 to 150 square meters.
Also, according to the MP, local councils are encouraged to provide the right to apply in certain cases, the coefficient of 0.5 or 1.5 for this tax.
Ksenia Lyapina also stated that this tax will be introduced as a primary residence, and on additional property, such as utility rooms.
At the same time MP from the Party of Regions faction Alexei Plotnikov said that this tax would be imposed only on the additional space.
