Prices for new buildings in the Czech Republic continue to grow
In the third quarter of 2017, the cost of new housing in the capital and regional cities of the Czech Republic increased by 6.4% - to $ 2,410 per square meter. m. Compared to 2016, the average selling price increased by almost 12%. In total, more than 6,600 apartments were built in the high-rise buildings under construction, amounting to about $ 1 billion, which is comparable to the second quarter of 2017, according to TRANSACTION Price Map.
Prices have risen in all regional capitals, with the exception of Pardubice. As usual, the apartments were the most expensive in Prague (their cost in the third quarter increased to $ 3,130 per sq. M.) And the cheapest in Usti nad Labem, where the average price was $ 610 per square meter.
