According to the Czech Statistical Office, in the first quarter of 2019, the cost of housing in the secondary market of the country grew by almost 11% compared with the same period last year, reports Radio Praha. Prices for apartments in the Czech Republic are growingIn the near future, the situation should change - prices should slow their movement upwards, or remain completely unchanged. By April of this year, the volume of transactions related to the purchase of apartments, declined by 11%, activity in the mortgage market - by 17%. The most serious slowdown in lending is felt in Prague - a fall in activity of 25%.

Taking into account such a jump in prices, the average Czech citizen can no longer afford to buy an apartment in the capital: prices are rising faster than wages. To become the owner of 70-meter apartments in Prague, you need to work for 15 years.
