Construction minister Ariel Atias (Shas) announced Tuesday the sale of the Israel Lands Administration land for 3,800 residential units. Since October 2009, management put up the land market by more than 24 thousand apartments across the country.
Most of the sites, as the report says the Ministry of Construction is not located in areas of high demand, as in the central part of Israel`s land is mostly privately owned, and the state can not dispose of it.
About 52% of sites that are for sale, located in Ramle (1300) and Lode (720). The winners of the tender will be those contractors who offer the lowest prices for buyers.
On sale will be also exhibited areas in Petah Tikva (under 140 units), Rishon Lezion (190), as well as in Nes Ziona, Kafr Kasem, Modi`in, Kadima-Tsorane, Gederathite and Rosh Ha-Ain, on the south of the country - in Dimona, Ofakim and Ashkelon and on the north - in Haifa and Nazareth in the district.
