Lennon bought the mansion in July 1964 for 20,000 pounds. Here he lived with his first wife Cynthia to divorce. It is believed that in this house Lennon created a number of songs for the eighth album The Beatles - "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", was released in 1967.
