High-rise building in France put up for sale for 1 euro
French authorities have decided to sell the commune Esson 23-storey building for the symbolic price of one euro. About this newspaper writes Le Parisien. Building 120 apartments were built in the 1960s to provide housing for the poor and on the balance of the state. By 2006, planning to demolish the house , but eventually recognized the valuable building for the city and decided to keep the building . At the moment, there are settled about half of the residents.
Due to the low prices the authorities expect to attract investors to the reconstruction of the building . It is planned that the house will turn into a multifunctional complex with a residential component , in particular the studio apartments for artists .

If the project will not be able to agree , the building can still be dismantled. Applications to purchase accepted until April 30.
