Construction output in Ukraine in 2011 may fall by 5-6%. Such a forecast today at a press conference announced the chairman of Ukrainian Construction Association Lion Partskhaladze.
In his opinion, the decline in construction during the current year will remain roughly at the level of performance in 2010, which, according to Goskomstat, was -5.6%, writes Ugmk.info.
"I think it would be nice if it would be on the same level as in 2010," said L. Partskhaladze, adding that he does not exclude that it will.
In his opinion, the decline in construction by 5,6% in 2010 - a relatively good result. "This is maybe good" - he said, explaining that last year put into operation primarily objects, construction of which began in 2006-2007.
"The worst thing is, even in 2012 - formally, perhaps, construction will begin, but in reality they will not be put into operation, because there are practically no buildings, which over the year we can construct", - said A. Partskhaladze.
