According to the company Prostobank Consulting minimum own contribution in order to obtain a loan to purchase property in the banks among the 50 largest by assets at 14.03.2011 was 30% of the cost of housing. Total mortgage loans on the "secondary housing" provides 24 banks among the top 50.

Despite the fact that the value of the minimum down payment from the beginning of 2011 has not changed, the number of banks willing to issue mortgages with such conditions, has increased. So, in mid-March-2011 of these institutions there are already 11, while in December 2010 there were 9. From the beginning, the amount of advances to its programs from 40 to 30% reduction in BM Bank and Ukrsotsbank.
