Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (ACU) will consider the pricing of building materials market in order to determine the regularity of price per square meter of housing. This was during a press conference, said Acting ACU Chairman Alexander Melnichenko.Kak BelTA LigaBusinessInform, A. Melnichenko said that, in all economic laws, where supply exceeds demand - namely, this situation is observed in the building materials market, the price per square meter should be significantly reduced. However, according to A. Melnichenko, Ukraine is not observed.
"The Committee began a deep investigation on the markets of sand, gravel, concrete, rebar, cement, where, for unknown reasons for the ACU, has recently begun to raise the prices of these goods," - said Acting Chapter AMC, adding that in the near future at a meeting with the leadership of all the organs AMC regarding the investigation on these commodity markets will develop a unified method of action to address this situation. "... Such actions will result in lower prices per square meter of living space in the building market. That is the goal we set for ourselves, initiating the investigation," - said Mr. Melnichenko.
He also noted that carrying out an investigation on the market, AMC intends to "consistently go across the chain in order to determine the regularity of pricing on the concrete and the final product - a square meter.
