In Bulgaria, want to restrict the sale of land to foreigners
If the new changes will be finally adopted in the second reading, foreign individuals and legal entities in Bulgaria will be able to buy a plot of land for agricultural purposes only after three years of permanent residence in the country, writes Novinite.com. Companies registered under Bulgarian law less than three years ago , will be able to acquire land only on the condition that their founders , members of the Commonwealth or the Company founders also continuously lived in Bulgaria for at least 3 years.
In addition, buyers will be required to submit a declaration of origin notary public funds for the purchase of land.
