In 2017, the average dollar price per square meter in the private houses for sale in Kiev decreased by 4.2% to $ 952, and in private suburbs of the capital the decline was 4.8% and at the end of December 2017 the average price per square meter houses in the districts of the region close to Kiev was $ 778. Over the past three years (compared to December 2014), the average cost of private houses in Kiev decreased by 30.2%, in the suburban area - by 27.6%.
In Kiev in 2017, there was an increase in dollar prices for houses located in Obolonsky (3.2%) and Svyatoshinsky (1.6%) districts. For the rest of Kiev, the decline was from 0.9% to 13.6%. It is noteworthy that prices in the regions with the cheapest ones (Desnyanskiy, 13.6%) and the most expensive houses (Pechersky, 10.2%) fell most significantly.
In the suburbs in 2017, the growth of dollar prices was recorded only in one district - Vyshgorod, by 0.1%. The decrease in other areas close to the capital was from 1.3% to 11%.
