Demolish "Khrushchev" in Kiev will not soon

Despite statements by officials, the process of building a new home in place of the obsolete "Khrushchev" in Kiev will begin soon, said Natalia Pronin, development director of Knight Frank.

According to the director, subject to the conditions on which the city administration is now working with develeoperamy, the last replacement is unprofitable to do, "Khrushchev" for new buildings.

"This issue has been raised repeatedly at meetings, round tables, but in the next 3-4 years, I see no prospects, so in this respect the situation has changed for the better" - said the expert.

We recall that the Kiev government is planning to launch a large-scale upgrade of housing capital in 2013, although earlier it was planned to start this project in 2011
